Gumasa is one of the popular beaches now in General Santos City. The pride of Glan in Sarangani province which around 30 kilometers from the Tuna Capital of the Philippines, General Santos City.
You could go to public transport van bound to Glan from the KCC mall of GenSan and travel for 40-50 minutes to the terminal of Glan and ride again through a tricycle for another couple of minutes to the Beach of Gumasa like Isla Jardin del Mar Resort. If you want some private van you could contact any van rent owner for around 4,ooo.00 Php.
Air-conditioned cottages designed like native houses with terrace and private bathroom can be rented for only 2,000Php per day with a breakfast for two. There are also non-air-conditioned cottages that are cheaper for only 1,500Php good for 4 persons. For others who don’t have any plans to stay overnight, there are open cottages and you could see the overlooking blue sea.
In Isla Jardin del Mar Resort is a Spanish phrase that means “Island Garden of the Sea”, you could see white sand, clear blue waters, nice cottages, fresh air and the relaxing beauty of nature.
Of all beaches, Isla Jardin del Mar Resort is one of my favorite resorts for their complete facilities, restaurant and very accommodating crews. You could even do other activities like volleyball and boating other than swimming.
